- I am a journalist/writer/MC and self professed hip-hop junkie. Much of my love for the music and culture can be attributed to my upbringing in Brooklyn, NY. I began writing rhymes at 10 years old and continued to sharpen my pen game throughout high school and college. After graduating from Temple University, I took a friend's suggestion and gave the hip-hop journalism thing a closer look. I began writing articles and joined the staff of a small newsletter named HHN (Hip Hop News) in 2005. In addition to HHNLIVE.COM and various other freelance endeavors, I am a music correspondent and host for the internet podcast, The Draft Pick Mixshow and a contributor to Yo Raps.com and Chambermusik.com. This blog will allow me to connect the dots and have a more personal dialogue with the people.
